Floating Honeymoon Havens
Honeymoon Paradise at Sea
Imagine standing on the top deck of a ship and sailing straight into a colourful sunset. Or be there at night with a sea of stars above you and the moonlight shimmering over the endless ocean around. And then sharing this stunning nature spectacle with the person you gave your heart to. Can you think of anything more romantic? As honeymooners you have lots of freedom deciding where you want to go, if you want to take part in the various activities on board or if you want to use the time to spend it only with each other.
What makes a cruise a smart decision for a honeymoon is that you get everything all-inclusive and do not have to deal with any organization matters concerning entertainment, food, lodging, activities, etc. And since the price of the cruise covers this all and you have no extra expenses, it still is affordable after an expensive wedding. On a cruiser the newlywed couple is isolated from the rest of the world and can feel free to do whatever they want, whenever they want it. They can relax by the pool or go dancing at night and then sleep late - it is just their time.
With a cruise ship you can get to almost any destination you dream of (still, the nearness of an ocean is a requisite). The seven seas of the world make it possible to cruise to Hawaii and try some hula-dancing with your beloved, get lost in the magic of the ruins of ancient Mexican cities, or learn from the Eskimo-kissing in Alaska.
Even though the wedding day is supposed to be the most beautiful day in your life, it is still packed with a lot of effort. A cruise ship is the perfect place for calming down after it all. Feeling the ocean breeze on the skin and breathing in the fresh ocean air while seeing the land get smaller and then disappear evokes the feeling of leaving all stress behind.
The one thing that cannot be missing on a honeymoon cruise is a romantic atmosphere. To create it, there are special amenities all over the place such as champagne and glasses in your cabin, breakfast in bed, flowers around and gourmet appetizers - and these are by far not all the treats.
There are other extras as well, such as massages, special receptions only for honeymooners and an own dining table for two in the dining room. The bride may be pleased with a complimentary session with a hair stylist and make-up artist to surprise her new husband with a breathtaking new look.
But there's romance everywhere, not just on board. When the ship docks, the newlyweds can go on special shore excursions. There they can do some snorkelling in the clear waters of the Caribbean and see an amazing underwater world or they can go swimming in a private lagoon. As another choice the couple can stroll through the streets of the exotic ports they have landed at and dive into a different, exciting culture.
If you are dreaming of a honeymoon in paradise, a cruise will get you very close to that. Throw your worries overboard and make the sea your own world of honeymoon delight.
